From eco-art, ethical fashion to greening Hajj and solar power- A World of Green Muslims- will post it all. This blog also hopes to be a great resources for curious Muslims hoping to go a little greener and highlight Islam’s green message.

- 70 percent of the total of 1.4 billion Muslim population throughout the world live in the eastern part of the world and in countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, which are very vulnerable to the impacts of climate change

Excellent post , mash’Allah
Very timely as I’m researching architectural forms for some third world community projects I’m working on right now. Hassan Fathy is on my list of pioneers as is Nadhir Khalili, the Iranian architect.
I aim to continue to voice the opinion that we don’t have to follow the modern building methods and mud, as can be seen of the Grand mosque of Djenne, Mali, can last for generations.
